The young man prepared everything online, on the Discord platform, where he created a kind of community that called on other young people to kill and even “serious self-harm of young people, mutilation and death of animals and the dissemination of extremist Nazi propaganda.”
In its statement, the SP claims that it was as a result of this behavior that an attack with a firearm (a .38 caliber revolver) occurred at a school in Zapopemba, Brazil, which led to the death of a 17-year-old boy. old girl. On the Discord platform, the perpetrator even shared images of the weapon and hat he would use, as well as the school where the crime would take place.
Authorities also found that this type of behavior “was common within the group, including live broadcasts of animal attacks resulting in injury and death, youths drinking detergent and mutilating themselves with sharp objects.”
“Adhering to a particularly violent and extremist ideology, the young detainee provided advice regarding the course of action and clothing that other participants should wear when preparing and committing crimes,” the statement said.
The teenager has been charged with aggravated murder, several counts of attempted murder, child pornography offences, and assault on physical integrity.
In its statement, the SP states that it cooperated with the Brazilian Federal Police and that this Thursday conducted house searches, seizing an extensive collection of evidence, including computer and digital materials.
On Friday, the detainee will appear before the authorities for enforcement action.
