Of the 14 victims of smoke poisoning, four children were taken to the Dona Estefania hospital.

Among the wounded hospitalized are two people of Argentine nationality and 11 from the Indian subcontinent, an Asian region that includes countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal. A Portuguese man was also injured, but is a “collateral victim” as he was not in the building when the fire broke out.

At least 20 people were moved, 11 were taken to hospitals.

The injured adults were taken to the San José Hospital and the Santa Maria Hospital in Lisbon. The alarm was announced around 20:37.
