A fire in an eight-story building in Barreiro, Setúbal, forced residents to leave the building this Sunday, with three people moving into family homes, a civil protection source told Lusa.
According to a source in the Sub-Regional Command for Emergency Situations and Civil Protection of the Setubal Peninsula, the fire alarm that occurred in a building located in the union of the parishes of Barreiro and Lavradio was filed at 20:37.
After a fire that occurred in one of the buildings, three people were relocated to their relatives, the rest of the residents of the house have already returned to their homes.
The same source, who specified that the fire was extinguished by 20:53, added that three people were treated at the scene due to smoke inhalation.
29 operators were involved in extinguishing the fire, including PSP agents assisted by nine vehicles.
