This Sunday, PSP detained a Wisela fan at the entrance to the Estádio do Dragão stadium for failing to comply with the ban on access to sports facilities imposed by the Office for the Prevention and Control of Violence in Sports (APCVD).
As an APCVD source explained to Lusa, the PSP Metropolitan Command in Porto detained a 27-year-old man “for the crime of disobedience”, for failing to comply with an additional sanction prohibiting access to sports facilities when he tried to watch FC. Porto Vizela (2-0).
The verdict concerns the previous year and the arrestee’s attempt to smuggle “pyrotechnical artifacts into Pacos de Ferreira-Vizela”, contested in February of that year.
The person will now be “represented before a judicial authority” for failing to comply with the terms of the sentence, which then included a €700 fine.
According to the latest update from the National Sports Information Center, there are currently 270 fans banned from sports facilities, around 200 by APCVD and the rest by court order.
