This Saturday, Sporting Braga temporarily moved up to third place in the Portuguese Football League after a 3-2 victory over rivals Vitória de Guimarães in the 33rd and penultimate matchday.
Roni Lopes sealed Braga’s triumph in Guimarães in the 90+3 minute, securing at least fourth place in the championship, to the detriment of the hosts, who began to win, with Bruno Gaspar’s goal in the 10th minute, which allowed the turnaround. Bruma at 24 and Ricardo Horta at 75, and they even tied Ricardo Mangas at 80.
The triumph lifted Braga to third place with 68 points, two more than fourth-place Porto, who host rivals Boavista on Sunday, while Vitória de Guimarães was “sentenced” to fifth place, giving access to the preliminary European Conference League rounds – 60.
