The meeting between the Prime Minister and the CGTP has been postponed to May 21

The meeting between Prime Minister Luis Montenegro and the CGTU, scheduled for this Monday, was postponed until May 21 due to the absence of the head of government, the trade union center reported.

Accordingly, the meeting, which is being held at the request of the CGTP, has been postponed to May 21 at the official residence in São Bento, according to a statement issued this Monday.

The trade union center’s document states that the purpose of the meeting is to present the conclusions of the XV Congress of the CGTP-IN, “where the problems faced by workers and their families, as well as proposals aimed at overcoming them, were considered.”

During the XV Congress of CGTP-IN, its new Secretary General, Tiago Oliveira, was elected, replacing Isabel Camarinho.
