The parliamentary leader of the PSD on Tuesday accused Chegu and André Ventura of wanting to “create chaos and a lawless state” so that “populism reigns”, condemning the process that the party wants to bring to the President of the Republic.
Speaking to journalists in parliament, Hugo Soares complained that the institutions of the republic are occupied with “a topic that does not exist, is of no interest and is aimed at calling into question respect for the institutions and the highest judge of the country.”
“The country can expect an immediate solution to this joke from the SDP. Anyone who plays with the regime, with the institutions, should not be respected and should not be taken seriously. We will do everything possible to ensure that this process is fast and has the least possible impact,” he assured.
