Two prison guards were shot dead and three were seriously injured in Ayr, France, on Tuesday. during an attack on a government vehicle carrying a prisoner from Rouen towards Evreux. According to Le Figaro, the goal was to free the transported prisoner.
The incident occurred at the Incarville toll booth. Two cars white Audi A5 and BMW 5 Series, participated in the attack and managed to escape, like the prisoner.
The cars were later found burnt out. in the city of Vatterville, and the other near the Evreux hospital.
French authorities are stepping up efforts to find the prisoner. Mohamed A., known as “La Mouche”, has several criminal convictions for “drug trafficking” and “attempted murder”.
