The 46-year-old man has been missing in Ferreira do Alentejo, Beja district, since Thursday and authorities are carrying out a search operation, Civil Protection and GNR reported this Saturday.
Speaking to Lusa, a source from the Subregional Command for Emergency Management and Civil Protection of Baixo Alentejo said that this Saturday, at 14:50, the GNR requested the cooperation of the volunteer firefighters of Ferreira do Alentejo in this ground search and rescue operation. .
This is “a man who disappeared two days ago in Ferreira do Alentejo,” the same source added.
A source from the Beja Territorial Command of the NTC, who was also contacted by Lusa, explained that the “last contact” made by the 46-year-old man occurred “at 00:52 on Thursday”.
“It was the girl who reported the disappearance to authorities,” and the search has continued since then, he added.
A total of eight operatives will be mobilized in the operation this Saturday, supported by four vehicles, including firefighters and PNR personnel, the subregional command for emergencies and civil protection of Baixo Alentejo said.
