CNE forces the government to remove social media posts. The publications were made after the official date for the European elections was set.

The National Electoral Commission ordered the government to remove several posts from social media following a complaint from the Socialist Party.

These are publications on Facebook or social network X in which the government announces approved measures and governance issues. These publications were made after the official date for the European elections had been set and CNE therefore considers that they cannot be made.

In discussing what CM had access, the CNE orders the “removal of the publications” and warns “the government, represented by the Prime Minister, to refrain until the end of the electoral process from committing acts that constitute forms of prohibited institutional advertising.”
This series includes publications made by the government regarding the increase in the timing of land harvesting in preparation for the fire season.
