A Russian attack on a hypermarket in Kharkov, Ukraine, left at least two people dead and 24 injured, according to Reuters.
“An attack in the city with a clear civilian purpose: a shopping center with a hypermarket. There were many workers and visitors in one of the large shopping centers. A fire broke out on the spot. All means were called: doctors, ambulance.” services and police. We are all fighting for our entire lives,” reacted Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
According to regional authorities, there could have been 200 people in the hypermarket at the time of the attack, which means the number of dead and injured may increase.
The leader of Ukraine condemns the new manifestation of “Russian madness.” “There is no other way to react. Only a madman like Putin was capable of killing and terrorizing people in such a vile way,” he added.
