Through a hole in the roof, several members of the group entered the Worten stores. They went downstairs, holding on to the ropes, and searched the premises. Several household appliances were then tied to these ropes and dragged to the roof, where other accomplices were located. They ran through the same place – always tied to cables.
On Saturday they robbed Worthen da Lauzan. Before this, they monitored space. They even came to inspect the inside and find the best place for the hole. Everything was planned in detail. They attacked at 3:30 am. They only used the hoods of their sweaters to hide their faces. They made off with dozens of instruments and a safe. They lifted objects by ropes several times. Everything will then be loaded into strategically parked vehicles. The robbery reportedly netted hundreds of thousands of euros.
This Friday, when they tried to rob Worten de Fanzeres in Gondomar, they were surprised by the PNP forces of Vila Nova de Gaia and arrested. Five men and two women are South American.
