BE accuses PS, AD and IL of voting for ‘same policies’ when they arrived in Brussels

The head of the BE list in the European elections accused this Saturday the Democratic Alliance, PS and IL of voting for the “same policies” when they reach the European Parliament, and attacked the Socialists and Social Democrats with the Migration Pact.

“It is not worth voting for parties that, despite their opposition at the national level, when they reach the European Parliament, such as PS, PSD, CDS-PP, Liberals, end up voting for the same policies. Vote for BE. it is a feminist and firm vote,” assured Catarina Martins, speaking to journalists at the Señor de Matosinhos festivals in Porto.

On World Children’s Day, the bloc candidate once again criticized the PS and Aliança Democrática (the coalition uniting PSD, CDS-PP and PPM) for endorsing the European Union Pact on Migration and Asylum at European level.

“Today I heard a lot about migration, I also heard a kind of accusation between the candidate from AD and PS about who attacks more or who defends human rights more. Today is World Children’s Day and so I think it is good to remember that both PS and AD voted for the Migration Pact, which UNICEF called unacceptable because it involved keeping children in detention camps,” he charged.

Katarina Martins stressed that “a vote for BE will never end with anti-immigrant and anti-child policies,” defending “policies of integration and inclusion.”

Responding to a question about the position of the head of the Democratic Alliance list, Sebastian Bugalho, regarding women’s rights, Katarina Martins said that she noticed “how the AD candidate always reacts with great irritation to issues of women’s liberties and women’s rights.”

“It is true that the PS has alliances with parties in the rest of Europe that do not protect women’s rights, but in any case, it is not the right that can talk about this, because at the moment the right is making an agreement with the far right. , the same thing that infringes on women’s freedom. From this point of view, they know who they can count on, and they can count on BE,” he said.
