This Sunday, the PS secretary general accused the government of a “sense of impunity” and of ignoring the instructions and recommendations of the National Electoral Commission (CNE), criticizing a letter sent to pensioners during the election period.
“Not only do we have a government in the midst of a campaign, ignoring the guidance of the CNE. There was already a letter sent to teachers midway through the election period, and now we have a letter sent to retirees. We have a government not only in campaign but with a great sense of impunity, ignoring the guidelines and recommendations of the CNE,” accused Pedro Nuno Santos while visiting the Cherry Festival in Resende as part of the electoral campaign for the Europeans.
For the PS leader, the issue is a matter of concern, and in the midst of an election campaign, “there are minimum rules that must be followed.”
