The head of the AD list in the European elections said this Sunday that “if there is one thing that is already clear about the PS, it is that we understand nothing about the PS,” and choosing a party means voting “in uncertainty.” .
During a lunchtime rally in Vagos, Sebastian Bugallo said that “a lot of different things” had been heard from the IPS since the March 10 legislative elections.
“We will fail the budget, we are not sure, we think we will fail the budget, in the end, we don’t know, we will soon see. Ursula von der Leyen was the great president of the commission [Europeia]because this is done with the extreme right, Chega and PSD are the same, Chega and PSD are different,” he listed.
And as the moment approaches “when the country will decide on the country and on the place that Portugal wants to occupy in the future of Europe”, the AD candidate asked the Portuguese to give strength to “the voice that will defend and represent the Portuguese in Europe”, after the war, expansion and with a new multi-year financial structure.
“What funds do we need? How are we going to negotiate and how are we going to position ourselves? What kind of voice do we want to have? How strong can this voice be?” he asked.
Sebastian Bugallo admitted that this Sunday was especially exciting for him because on Sunday there were already people who assured him that they voted early for AD and even sent him proof.
“From the beginning of the day until this afternoon, I received messages from people sending me proof of their voting form,” the European candidate said, noting that the “volume of support” and motivation was “very touching.”
For more than four minutes of his speech, Bugalho praised AD’s national representative for the European elections, Carlos Moedas, who this Sunday joined the campaign for the first time in the official period.
Addressing Lisbon City Council President Sebastian Bugalho, he said that “having a winning representative is a good sign for a candidate who wants to win.”
And “the European dream of wanting to build a future without leaving anyone behind,” he added, is what inspires him most about Carlos Moedas as a person and a politician.
“If anyone is realizing this dream in Portugal, it is the engineer Carlos Moedas,” he emphasized.
