A 64-year-old man died after he was hit while riding his bicycle on Rua Central do Campo in Valongo on Sunday morning. For what CM As it turned out, the victim was traveling accompanied by his brother-in-law when he was hit by a crashed car.
When he was hit, the man was thrown ten meters and fell into a parking lot. He was still able to be saved, but his condition could not be changed, and he was pronounced dead on the spot.
The 23-year-old driver suffered minor injuries.
More than a dozen members of the Walongo Volunteer Fire Department, INEM, VMER, SIV, GNR and a team of psychologists were mobilized to the scene. The alarm came in around 6:30 am.
