Gonçalo Lima, 18, died this Friday after being shot in the NorteShopping food court in Matosinhos. He was an only child and worked for a crane company in São Mamede do Coronado, in Trofa, where he was born.
The young man was attacked by an unknown group of three people who were teasing his girlfriend. Goncalo lost consciousness after being attacked with a knife in the chest area.
The PSP agent was the first to treat the victim, who was later assisted by firefighters and transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The body will undergo an autopsy. The funeral will take place on Tuesday in Sao Mamede do Coronado. The victim’s father worked in Évora and returned to the north of the country after the murder.
