The Lisbon Metropolitan Command PSP is carrying out an anti-drug trafficking operation this morning in several areas of Lisbon and Montijo, in the Setubal region, security forces said.
In a statement, the PSP said it was working to combat organised crime linked to drug trafficking, the arrest and use of firearms and robberies, with 15 warrants issued for house searches, three for non-house searches and eight for arrests not related to serious crimes, taking place in various areas of Lisbon and Montijo.
According to the PSP, 12 house searches are being carried out in the streets of Rua Carlos Botelho, Bairro das Moagen and Bairro do Lavrado in Lisbon, two in the Loureiro and Ajuda neighbourhoods (Lisbon) and one in Rua António Oliveira Feio, in Montijo.
