Montenegro already announced on Tuesday that the cost of aid to Ukraine will reach 200 million euros next year, an increase of 95 million euros. On the other hand, the Portuguese Prime Minister committed to spending 2% of GDP on defense by 2029 in a letter to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
According to the Prime Minister, these efforts will mean that Portugal’s current defence spending, “which is around 4,186 million euros, could reach around 6 billion euros in 2029.”
