Traffic on the Metropolitano de Lisboa blue line was interrupted today from 11:41 a.m. due to a passenger falling on the line, a company source told Lusa.
According to the same source, who has no information about the condition of the passenger, the fall occurred at the Carnide station.
“Due to an incident with a passenger, traffic has been stopped. At the moment it is impossible to predict the duration of the break, which can be extended. Thank you for your understanding,” the Metropolitano website also says.
Metropolitano de Lisboa operates daily on four lines: yellow (Rato Odivelas), green (Telleiras-Cais do Sodre), blue (Reboleira-Santa Apolonia) and red (San Sebastian Airport).
The metro usually runs from 06:30 to 01:00.
