Interior Minister Margarida Blasco has rejected the idea that the government will resume talks with the security forces to increase the risk surcharge.
In an interview with NIC NewsA government official assured that the agreement, which provides for a gradual increase in the supplement by 300 euros until 2026, was signed last month and that it was closed.
“The agreement was signed and signed on July 9. These negotiations are closed,” he specified.
Even under pressure from the PSP and GNR trade unions, the executive guarantees that it will not initiate a new meeting with the police, scheduled only for next year. “We will resume the career review on the 6th. I think it is a great agreement, but people may not agree,” said Margarida Blasco.
About a month after the negotiations ended, the government approved a 300-euro pay rise for military personnel. This measure makes the careers of the PNP, PSP and the Armed Forces equivalent.
