“There will not be and is not expected to be the closure of any public maternity hospital,” Manuel Pizarro told reporters, responding to information put forward by RTP on Tuesday that there was a new Commission proposal to monitor the response to gynecological emergencies, which could lead to the closure of eight obstetric gynecological emergency departments serving only pregnant women with a period of at least 22 weeks and referred.
