An inmate at Caxias Prison, Oeiras, was filmed Tuesday by guards on the prison’s CCTV system receiving drugs while visiting his girlfriend, who was handed over to the PSP while under arrest. Another woman, who the inmate said he is married to, was also present on the same visit.
Two women, you know CMare recorded by the Directorate General of Prison Services as authorised visits to a prisoner. The 46-year-old man is currently serving a prison sentence for drug trafficking.
On Tuesday morning, the two went to visit the prisoner. The “girlfriend” was filmed handing him a bag containing four hashish acorns, several synthetic drug tablets, a mobile phone and a packet of joints.
The prisoner was taken to a room where he voluntarily handed over the prohibited material.
The woman was detained and handed over to the PSP by prison guards.
