Redesign of worlds
This year we intend to continue the work started, projecting it into the future, including new disciplines such as dance, sculpture or animation, which could help develop and continue to project Figueiró dos Vinhos on the art map, as a scene of artistic and cultural activity.
Urban art is a powerful tool for the promotion and development of tourism, social, urban and economic transformation of any territory, and the embodiment of a sense of belonging to a community.
Fasunchar aims to shed light on local identity through artistic expressions, keeping it alive and not forgetting the visit to Figueiró dos. artists Enrique Pinto and Jose Malhoa and from sculptors Simões de Almeida Tio and Sobrinho. The naturalistic movement present in the work of these artists will continue to be the guiding line of all disciplines presented at the festival, with a central focus on community.
This is a new edition of the Festival, now from a different point of view, curator Ricardo Romerowants to renew interest, reviving it in another sense: by expanding the imagination, sharpening sensitivity, experimenting with new points of view, with personal and collective perspectives, creating a space of retreat and evasion, a place of creativity where we find refuge in the proximity of our imagination in an exchange between generations, using fragments of local cultural heritage and rediscovering admiration for the beauty of what surrounds us.
