Homeless Man Who Killed Man in Carnide Collects Bones of ‘House’

He is known to be about 40 years old, wears a cap and usually goes around with a mask covering his face. Anyone who has seen his face says he has a thin beard and usually ties his hair with a rubber band. He is very dirty and his skin tone is very dark due to the sun he is usually exposed to. This is the description given by neighbors of the man who killed Manuel Luz on Sunday and a homeless man who spent the night in the destroyed house in the parish of Carnido in Lisbon.

At the door of the makeshift “home” — a space that could be called a bedroom, but there is no kitchen or bathroom — the suspect boasts a strange collection. Dozens of bones are scattered across a blanket, bones that he picks up on the street and meticulously washes until they are spotless white.

The suspect was reportedly seen in a nearby area on Monday.
