SDP disagrees with Lula da Silva’s speech at the solemn meeting on April 25

The Social Democratic Party (PSD) says it does not agree that Brazilian President Lula da Silva will address the Assembly of the Republic at a solemn meeting on April 25, thus reacting to the statement made this Thursday by the head of Portugal. diplomacy in Brasilia.

“The SDP accepts that the head of the Brazilian state speaks in Parliament, but not at the solemn meeting dedicated to April 25,” said SDP leader Joaquim Miranda Sarmento in a written statement sent to Lusa.

Thus, the PSD parliamentary leader reacted to the announcement made today by Portuguese Foreign Minister João Gomes Cravinho in Brazil that Brazilian President Lula da Silva will address the Assembly of the Portuguese Republic in the celebrations of 25 April.
