An 81-year-old blind elderly woman and her daughter were left homeless after the house they lived in in Louros, Santa Maria da Feira, was destroyed by a fire that broke out early this Sunday morning.
The daughter was the only person in the house when the fire broke out. The house was completely destroyed by fire and that morning Post found that the roof had collapsed in a few minutes.
18 firefighters worked at the scene, who, having arrived at the scene, already found that the house was on fire. The National Republican Guard (GNR) is investigating the cause of the fire.
Settlers now have the solidarity of neighbors who have come to the place to offer some goods. An 81-year-old woman and her daughter are temporarily living with family members.
