The PSD, Chega, the Liberal Initiative, the PKP and Blok de Esquerda voted against.
PAN and Livre abstained.
The same vote approved the executive’s proposal for the main options for the plan for the period 2022-2026.
The State Budget Proposal for 2023 is currently being submitted to the Budget and Finance Committee for specialty discussion and then brought to the plenary for a specialty vote and global final scheduled for November 25th.
As decided at this week’s extraordinary leadership conference, Livre’s sole deputy, Ruy Tavares, voted from a distance as he was infected with covid-19 and took the opportunity to thank parliamentary services for how positively their intervention had been. seat on both days of the budget debate. The committee’s consideration of the state budget proposal begins on Friday, beginning with hearings by the Court of Accounts, the Secretary of State for European Affairs and the Deputy Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, followed by weeks following hearings from various ministers and other bodies. .
November 11 at 15:00 will be the final hearing of the Minister of Finance, and at 18:00 the deadline for the parties to submit proposals for amendments to the Government Decree.
Discussion of the document on the specialty at the plenary session will begin on November 21 and will last all week.
The schedule agreed upon at the leaders’ conference calls for the final document to be approved on 14 December.
Only then can the proposal be submitted to the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebel de Souza, for consideration.
This is the second budget proposal submitted by the XXIII Constitutional Government since the legislative elections in early January, in which the PS won an absolute majority.
