Chelsea beat Dortmund to advance to Champions League quarter-finals

Chelsea beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in London and turned things around by returning 0-1 from the first match in Germany. The game started ten minutes late (the Dortmund bus got stuck in a traffic jam). But just in time for Chelsea’s corner.

Joao Felix and Enzo Fernandez were in the starting lineup and the Portuguese was one of the most irreverent players in the first half. Dortmund (with Rafael Guerreiro in the starting XI) are still terrified of a free kick in the 17th minute. But from then on it was just Chelsea. Havertz scored in the 38th minute and the move was banned for offside. Five minutes later it was for real. Sterling opened the scoring, putting the British ahead.

In the first moments of the second half, Chelsea got a penalty. Havertz hit the post, but the referee ordered it returned. On the second, the same player made a comeback. Thus, Chelsea, along with Benfica, is one of the teams with a ticket to the quarterfinals.
