German international Robin Gosens will miss Tuesday’s clash between Inter Milan and Porto in the Champions League round of 16 second leg due to injury, announced this Monday by the Italian emblem.
In a note published on the official website, Inter explained that the left-back has a muscle problem and that he will be examined again in the coming days, and therefore will miss the Italian runner-up’s trip to Porto.
Gosens, 28, has made 33 appearances this season and scored two goals in all competitions for AC Milan.
The Dutch-born defender who plays for Germany is in his second season at Inter after being loaned out to Atalanta in the second half of the 2021/22 season.
Gosens moved to the Bergamo team in the 2017/18 season after appearances in Hercules, Dordrecht and Vitesse, emblems of the Netherlands.
FC Porto-Inter is scheduled for 20:00 at Estádio do Dragão. In the first match, Inter won 1-0.
