A 39-year-old man was the victim of a brutal attack with a broken bottle at the door of a pensioners’ association in Pinheiro de Loures, which led to his hospitalization. He was discharged more than 24 hours after the attack with more than 40 stitches to his face.
The fight happened on Saturday at 20:25. The victim and the 66-year-old man went outside after a dispute broke out within the association. It was then, for reasons yet to be ascertained, that the 66-year-old took the bottle, broke it, and hit the victim several times. The attacker’s father, who works for a pensioners’ association, went abroad just in time to help his son. He even pushed the aggressor, but he ran away.
Loures firefighters were called and treated the 39-year-old man. He was taken to the Beatriz Angelo Hospital, where he underwent surgery. He was only released early Monday morning. ABOUT cm knows that the victim was close to losing his sight as a result of the attack.

Due to the lack of detention at the scene of the crime, he was not arrested and will wait at large for the continuation of the investigation.
