Pedro Garcia da Fonseca, a resident and architect, says the General Regulations for Urban Buildings (RGEU) are not being followed. “There is a non-compliance with the pitch of buildings that do not comply with the law of 45 degrees of their facade, which stipulates that the height of the facade must be free in front of it,” he explains to Renascença.
The architect says that living rooms and bedrooms are 15 meters from neighboring houses and that all houses are one floor larger than the licensed one. The Quercus Association is also considering filing a complaint.
The Chamber of Oeiras states that “the urban planning operation has been subjected to analysis and information favorable to its approval.” Residents will present this Saturday, at 11:30, some violations.
