A4 cut between Vila Real and Braganca due to a collision between two trucks

A collision between two heavy vehicles followed by a fire this Monday left one person and two passengers seriously injured on the A4 motorway towards Vila Real Bragança.

According to the Douro Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Defense Authority, the accident occurred at 6:43 am on the 104th kilometer of the A4 motorway in the direction of Vila Real – Bragança, in the union of the parishes of São Tomé do Castelo and Justes.

Vila Real GNR reported that due to the collision, the A4 motorway was cut in the direction of Vila Real – Bragança and traffic was changed at the Lamares junction with the Estrada Nacional 15 (EN15) alternative.
