Two men and a woman, aged between 19 and 37, were arrested after they were caught driving a stolen car in Tomar. The GNR statement said the vehicle was found in circulation this Sunday and that the driver also did not have a driver’s license.
“It was determined that the driver of the vehicle did not have a legal driving license and that the suspects used a lock pick to set the vehicle in motion, leading to a red-handed arrest,” the statement said. .
GNR also found that three of the suspects had a criminal record. The statement said that another stolen vehicle was discovered by the same perpetrators in Abrantes.
After the arrest, the authorities managed to seize two stolen cars, a master key and materials used in the crime.
The detainees were brought to justice, and the facts were brought to the attention of the court.
