Wants enough to see contracts signed by Camigna’s council

This Tuesday, Chega asked the Council of Caminha for copies of documents related to the construction of a cross-border exhibition center in Vilarello and a science and technology center in Vilar de Muros, when the current Deputy Secretary of State, Prime Minister Miguel Alves was president of this municipality.

The request was made through a statement sent to the President of the Assembly of the Republic, Augusto Santos Silva, signed by André Ventura. Miguel Alves is the defendant in two lawsuits allegedly investigating facts committed during his tenure as Mayor of Caminha.

Among the required documentation: a copy of a simple contract signed between the Municipality of Camigny and Green Endogenous, SA in 2020, for the lease to the Municipality of a cross-border exhibition center, also called a multi-purpose pavilion; a copy of a contract signed between the municipality of Camigny and Green Endogenous, SA, allegedly with a promise to lease a science and technology center to the municipality; a copy of the guarantees offered to the municipality of Camigny to guarantee the construction of the aforementioned properties, or information on the amounts, validity and duration of the same guarantees; copies of contracts for the provision of services in the field of communications, concluded over the past 10 years.
