The SP detained a 40-year-old man for trying to kill another, also 40, with an x-acto in Bairro da Pastelleira, Porto. The victim was hospitalized in a serious but stable condition. The security forces said in a statement that the alleged crime occurred on March 20 and is related to drug trafficking and use.
“The author and the victim disagreed over reasons related to drug use, with the author stabbing the victim in the neck with an x-acto, causing serious life-threatening injuries,” the statement said. After that, people attacked the suspect.
The detainee is a foreigner and a preventive measure in the form of detention was applied to him.
