A 23-year-old new mother died after using cocaine the first night after her son was born.
Rebecca Tollan died at Bellshill, Lanarkshire, Scotland in July 2019. Two men were found to be the main culprits in the young woman’s death. Barry McAuley, 40, and Martin Stewart, 34, appeared in court on Monday and are charged with supplying a girl with a lethal drug on July 14 and 15, 2019.
However, both defendants deny the Glasgow High Court accusations.
Rebecca used drugs in the bar and in the house, where she eventually died.
The prosecution alleges that Rebecca died shortly after taking the drugs.
