Prime Minister António Costa said this Friday that he was not aware of a pre-audition meeting with the former TAP CEO, who was criticized by the opposition, and devalued the controversy, but considers the meetings normal.
Assuring that the meeting “had nothing to do with the parliamentary commission of inquiry [à gestão da TAP]”but “with normal parliamentary hearings,” the prime minister added that when he was Secretary of State and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, “there were very frequent meetings to prepare for hearings.”
The Prime Minister spoke on the sidelines of the signing of the cooperation protocol with the Repsol Foundation – Motor Verde + Floresta Project, at the Salão Nobre of the Higher Agronomic Institute of Lisbon, Tapada da Ajuda, Lisbon.
