The prime minister confirmed Tuesday that he will sue the former governor of Banco de Portugal for what he read after Carlos Costa reports in a book that he was pressured not to remove Isabel dos Santos from the BIC.
“I have nothing more to say on this issue. I already had the opportunity to say last week that the statements that Dr. Carlos Costa, about me, are offensive to my good name, my honor and my attention, and therefore I have already appointed a lawyer to speak by legal means, “said Antonio Costa at the opening of the exhibition “which tells the story … Paula Rego in the Serralves collection” at the Serralves Foundation, in Porto.
Despite journalists’ insistence on the statements made by the former governor of Banco de Portugal at the launch of the book “On the Government”, which took place today in Gulbenks, in Lisbon, Costa stressed that he had nothing more to say.
