The Brazilian President will be in Portugal until April 25 with an agenda to avoid controversy around Lula.
The visit will begin this Saturday with a welcoming ceremony and flower laying at the tomb of Luis de Camões in Jeronimus, Lisbon and will be hosted by Marcelo Rebelo de Souza. He has lunch with Prime Minister António Costa and attends the Portuguese-Brazilian summit.
On Monday (no official events are expected on Sunday), Lula will be at the Portugal-Brazil business forum in Matosinhos, and will also visit Embraer-OGMAco in Alverca. He will also take part in the awarding of the Camões Chico Buarque Award. On the 25th, he was honored at a formal meeting in Parliament.
