Portuguese head of state Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, Mozambican President Filipe Nyusi and Brazilian President-elect Lula da Silva meet today at the Belém Palace in Lisbon.
This tripartite meeting was not scheduled. Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa first received Filipe Nyusi at 15:00 and then went to Lula da Silva at 17:00.
However, the meeting with Filipe Nyusi dragged on, Lula da Silva arrived about 20 minutes before the scheduled time, and it was announced to the journalists present on the spot that the three would meet.
At the Sala das Bicas of the Belen Palace, Marcelo Rebelo de Souza, Filipe Nyusi and Lula da Silva posed in front of reporters for a few minutes before meeting, the three of them greeted each other holding hands.
