A five-year-old girl was found dead and naked in a trash bag Tuesday afternoon in Rambertville, France.
The girl’s parents reported her disappearance in the early afternoon and she was eventually found in an apartment less than 200 meters from the family home.
According to the diary Le Republicain Lorrain, the girl was playing in front of the family home and suddenly disappeared around 13:00. The mother quickly learned of her disappearance and the police were called to carry out searches.
A 15-year-old teenager, who turned to the police with a statement about the discovery of a body in his mother’s rented apartment, was eventually detained by operatives.
The teenager is already known to justice for sexual harassment and suffers from several disorders. A few weeks ago he was discharged from the hospital, but according to some witnesses, the behavior of the young man in recent days caused concern.
A murder investigation has begun.
