Finance Minister Fernando Medina this Friday affirmed a “clear and transparent decision-making process” to acquit TAP leaders based on a General Inspectorate for Finance (IGF) report that pointed to illegal activities while criticizing “leaked selective information.”
“I don’t want to comment on the leaks of selective information given to the commission of inquiry, which the Government has actually presented very clearly, very openly, as we have always done from the very beginning,” the Minister of Guardianship began.
Speaking to reporters at the end of an informal Eurogroup held in Stockholm by the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the EU, the official added: “I only confirm what I have always said from the beginning about this process. [que] The basis of all reasoning regarding the administration of the TAP is described in his facts, in his legal arguments, in his legal qualifications, in the IGF report.”
