On Saturday morning, a 39-year-old man suffered serious injuries caused by stab wounds and aggression with an object that looked like a baseball bat. The victim received a stab wound to the armpit and a severe head injury. Everything indicates that the attempted murder comes from retribution.
The warning was given around 1:30 am by the Sever de Vouga firefighters for the aggression on Avenida Comendador Augusto Martins Pereira. The local GNR and an ambulance and resuscitation team from Aveiro were also called.
By the time firefighters and GNR arrived on the scene, the suspect had already fled.
The investigation has been handed over to the Judicial Police of Aveiro.
The victim was taken by firefighters from Sever de Vouga to the University Hospital of Coimbra.
