Nine people were killed this Wednesday in a school shooting in Belgrade, Serbia’s capital. The dead – eight children and a security guard, reports Tanjug, citing Reuters.
According to Reuters, the author of the pictures is a 14-year-old student of this educational institution.
The teenager has already been detained by the authorities. He used his father’s gun.
“I saw children running out of the school, running and screaming. Parents came, they were in a panic. Later, I heard three shots,” a student from a secondary school next to Vladislav Rybnikar told the state television channel RTS, quoted by the Novosti agency. .
According to Reuters, the teacher was injured.
Local police sealed off the neighborhoods around the school due to the incident. An investigation has been launched to determine the motive for the crime.
