Prime Minister António Costa said this Wednesday that, even with the effects of the pandemic and the war in Ukraine, “employment is at its peak” and “the economy is growing in a way that it hasn’t grown in many years.”
Costa and the ministers launched a two-day initiative this Wednesday in Braga, during which the prime minister dined with businessmen and said the country has “good reasons for trust, which is a fundamental condition.”
The meeting of the Council of Ministers will take place this Thursday in Braga, two days after Costa blocked the departure of Interior Minister Joao Galamba, against the recommendation of the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Souza. Galamba is the only absent minister in Braga.
