The Judicial Police (PJ) have detained two men suspected of attempting to rob a restaurant and drinking establishment in Braga by threatening two officers with a gun, the force announced today.
The JV statement added that the theft did not occur due to a “quick and determined response” by the staff, which resulted in the suspects fleeing.
According to the joint venture, the suspects entered the establishment under the pretext of consuming goods.
Inside, “they had a gun with which they sent two employees of the establishment, demanding money.”
The detainees, aged 32 and 35, living in the municipality of Braga and “addicted to drugs”, will be taken to the competent judicial authorities for judicial interrogation and enforcement measures.
