Petr Kucherenko, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia, died on Saturday at the age of 46. Returning from the trip of the Russian delegation to Cuba, the victim felt unwell.
The Deputy Minister was helped to land in Mineralnye Vody, Russia, but was pronounced dead on the spot.
“We express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Petr Aleksandrovich,” the Ministry of Science and Higher Education said in an official statement.
Pyotr Kucherenko was Chief of Staff of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation, Legal and Judicial Affairs, Development of Civil Society in Russia from 2012 to 2014 and Chief of Staff of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Law and State Building from 2014 to 2020.
