The Minister of the Interior, José Luis Carneiro, announced this Friday that the inspectors of the Investigation and Inspection Service of the Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF) will be transferred “as a unit” to the Judicial Police (PJ).
As part of the restructuring of the SEF, which is underway, the official said in Évora that this “block” transfer of investigative and inspection inspectors from this body to PJ is planned, which is in line with their expectations.
“That was what the workers wanted the most, because the career of an investigator and inspector in the SEF is very similar to that of an investigator in the judicial police,” said José Luis Carneiro.
