A woman who recently stopped having pets said on her personal Facebook page that every year she “baths” her artificial Christmas tree before putting it on display.
According to British newspaper Mirrorthe woman justified her attitude and said that “she always tries to get rid of the dust and dirt that accumulates on the tree when it is closed all year round before covering it with Christmas tree decorations.”
While many people would never consider doing the same, it makes sense, especially for those with pets. Mirror. An artificial Christmas tree can sit for a month or more during the festivities, accumulating all kinds of microbes and dirt. After that, it is stored, often without cleaning or shaking.
